Ajman Private Education Office signs MoU with Ajman's Citizens Affairs Office to support community and educational initiatives

Ajman, UAE, 17 October 2024:
The Ajman Private Education Office signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Citizens Affairs Office, in the presence of H.E. Sheikh AbdulAziz bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Ajman Tourism Development Department, and H.E. Sheikh Abdullah bin Majid Al Nuaimi, Director General of Ajman's Citizens Affairs Office. The agreement primarily aims to foster collaboration and exchange of knowledge pertaining to educational and community initiatives, as well as promote the Tastahel Card and 'Arshedni' initiative.
The MoU comes as part of the collaborative endeavours undertaken by both organisations to enhance their strategic ties and initiatives. The primary objectives of the initiative include the advancement of the education sector through exchange of knowledge, expertise, and research. Furthermore, the partnership aims to improve the quality of life and promote overall well-being of the local community. The MoU was signed by H.E. Mahmood Khaleel Al Hashmi, Director General of the Private Education Office in Ajman, and H.E. Maryam Ali Al Memary, Executive Director of the Citizens Affairs Office.

In turn, H.E. Maryam Ali Al Memary, Executive Director of the Citizens Affairs Office, stated, “The latest collaboration with the Ajman Private Education
Office advances the strategic objectives of both organisations, which are to promote and foster innovative community initiatives that enhance the well-being and quality of life of Ajman's residents. As part of our commitment to enhancing educational standards in the emirate, we support and develop impactful initiatives and programs and provide comprehensive support packages to students. Through this, we aim to ensure quality education for learners and prepare a generation with integrated skills.”
Additionally, the agreement emphasises the importance of a strong partnership in promoting the 'Testahel' discount card through effective communication and coordination with private schools, under the supervision of the Private Education Office. The primary goal is to encourage active participation and provide cardholders who live in the Emirate with special discounts.
This initiative aims to expand the range of partnerships and available discounts, while also raising awareness about the educational programs implemented by the office. These programs include student scholarships, initiatives to support medical students, and the 'Arshedni' initiative, along with other educational initiatives.
As part of the 'Arshedni' initiative, both parties will work together and coordinate efforts to host workshops and educational awareness courses. They will also facilitate sessions at targeted schools as part of the initiative. Additionally, the MoU underlines joint efforts to develop promotional plans and harness various channels to advertise the programs of both parties. Along with the exchange of data and statistics to accomplish shared objectives, both entities will jointly participate in training programs, activities, events, and conferences that mutually benefit both organisations.
The memorandum also covers cooperation in organising conferences, meetings, seminars, workshops, and social initiatives relevant to both parties, as well as participation in international exhibitions. This will also facilitate the exchange of relevant information, expertise, and studies, along with provision of facilities available to each party to support the implementation of programs and activities and explore new areas of mutually beneficial cooperation.
